French and Fun is an innovative activity-based program that introduces kids to the French language and culture. Our programs brilliantly combine learning French with engaging activities, making it fun and exciting for kids to learn the French language. Courses are designed to inspire a love for language and learning in a vibrant and supportive environment.
No prior knowledge of French is required!
Kids laugh, move and create, all while learning French and magnifique French culture, guided by French speaking teachers.
Our sessions run in the mornings during the Victorian school term for two hours. For added convenience, you can extend your child’s stay with an optional hour of supervised playtime – yes, FREE time for you to do what you love, while kids learn the language of Moliere and Victor Hugo!
French and Fun offers an exciting program:
‘Les Petits’ for kids aged 3-5 years old
For kids aged 3-5 years old
Through playful exploration, kids discover the French language and culture while developing their motor skills, creativity, and social skills.
Yes, absolutely! Our sessions are designed for beginners. We use playful and immersive methods that allow children to learn French gradually and enjoyably.
To encourage children’s independence, self-confidence and help them fully engage in the activities, we kindly ask parents to leave the room after dropping off their child. However, you are very welcome to stay in the building.
Parents are welcome to stay for a few minutes with their little ones in the classroom during the first sessions to help them feel comfortable in their new environment. This allows the children to get used to the French and Fun routine gradually.
Rest assured, our team is dedicated to ensuring their well-being throughout the session.
We recommend comfortable clothing suitable for physical activities, as well as closed shoes. Children should be able to move freely for games and craft activities. They also need to bring a water bottle and a snack.
The teachers set up and supervise manual activities, board games, construction play areas, and reading spaces. Once your little one is registered for this extra hour you are free to pick them up at any time between 12pm and 1pm.
First, make sure to note any allergies or necessary treatments on the registration form.
Also, to avoid any risk of food allergies French and fun programs is nuts free.
And finally during French and Fun activities, teachers supervise snack times, ensuring that food is not shared between children.
Yes. Children are ALWAYS supervised. Our teachers have integrated toilet breaks in between activities and will help your little one with their snack-time lunch boxes.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. However, due to the nature of our classes and the resources allocated, we cannot offer refunds for missed sessions.
Our teachers are all French and have lots of experience working with kids.
They hold Working With Children (WWC) checks, police checks, and have undergone specific training tailored to the needs of French and Fun.
Each session lasts 2 hours. Additionally, there is an option for children to stay an extra hour.
We recommend arriving 5 min before the session to allow your child to settle in and play before the session begins. This helps create a smooth routine for the children.
